BTI's Nursing Assistant Certification Training is an Oregon State Board of Nursing approved program that teaches and prepares students to take the Nursing Assistant Certification Test to become a CNA. Our instructors are Registered Nurses with many years of experience both in the field and teaching this course.

Course Details

Overview

The BTI Level 2 training program is for the current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), who assists licensed nursing personnel in the provision of nursing care, and is an 88-hour course fulfilling the Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) requirements for CNA 2 training and grants certificate of completion.  This course will expand the breadth and depth of the CNA's knowledge, skills, and abilities through knowledge learning with lecture, discussion, and skills lab (a minimum of 60 hours), and hands-on clinical experience (a minimum of 28 hours).

This course requires a commitment from the student, of time and "personal caring." Students must also be able to meet the physical requirements, engage in therapeutic communication, and deal with stressful situations.
