The use of ATVs has expanded considerably over the last few years.  Knowing how to properly operate an ATV is key to your employees' safety in the field.

Upon successful completion of this course and having met all requirements, students earn:

Course Description

Instruction on safe handling and operation of ATVs will ensure that employees are trained on safe operation of their vehicle under the variety of conditions in which they might be driving. Employees will learn how to conduct a pre-trip inspection and become familiar safe work practices related to driving year-round.

Training will also include the use of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each type of vehicle, unsafe aspects of the vehicle, and review of accidents as a learning tool.

Depending on group size and/or needs, a hands-on training will be added to this course.

Who Should Attend?

Any personnel who operate an ATV of any kind.

Frequency of Training

As needed or every 3 years.
