Course Description
This course covers when PPE is necessary, what PPE is necessary, how to properly put on, take off, adjust and wear the PPE, and the limitations of the PPE. Additionally, proper care, maintenance, useful life and disposal of PPE will be covered. During the course, trainees can practice the use of PPE. The course also discusses situations that require training requirements for employers, especially during the following circumstances: changes in the workplace or in the type of required PPE that make prior training obsolete.
This training does not cover the use of respirators, nor N95 masks, as required by applicable Federal or State requirements.
Who Should Attend?
Anyone who is required or is anticipated to wear PPE for their job tasks.
