Crook County School District partners with BTI for student certifications

Local high school students who want to enter the heavy equipment field will have a unique advantage thanks to a recurring collaboration.
Crook County High School (CCHS) is once again partnering with Baker Technical Institute (BTI) to provide students with hands-on career and technical education experiences through its Heavy Equipment Simulator Training Program.
“Partnerships like this with Baker Technical Institute provide our students with meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that connect classroom learning to future career opportunities while helping them earn industry certifications they can use immediately after graduation,” said Crook County School District Superintendent Joel Hoff. “We are committed to preparing students for success beyond high school. Programs like this help students build confidence, develop technical skills and gain valuable exposure to high-demand industries right here in our community.”
