Driving Safety: Winter Weather

Instruction on safe handling and operation of vehicle will ensure that employees are trained on safe operation of their vehicle under the variety of conditions in which they might be driving.

Upon successful completion of this course and having met all requirements, students earn:

Course Information

Employees will learn how to conduct a pre-trip inspection and become familiar safe work practices related to driving year-round.  Depending on group size and/or needs, a hands-on training or ride-along can be added to this course.  Drivers will get to operate our state-of-the-art simulator and experience poor road conditions of all types to better their performance and gain valuable experience in a safe manner.

Who Should Attend?

Any personnel who may drive a company vehicle in winter weather.
