Course Description
The purpose of this course is to help participants recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies to know to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. "Stop the bleed" procedures also will be incorporated. Management of Bloodborne Pathogens is also trained on during this training, along with appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
This course is adapted for the injuries that utility workers face and the equipment they may have with them.
